Marina Farah, MD, MHA
Doctor Farah is an experienced hospitalist, physician advisor, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and leading national expert in improving healthcare quality, efficiency, and profitability. Before founding her consulting firm, she spent 15 years in a variety of leadership roles at Sound Physicians, a leading U.S. provider of physician services. She was responsible for developing organization-wide performance management capabilities, developing, testing, and rolling out innovative solutions, as well as influencing healthcare policy and regulatory changes impacting hospitals and clinicians nationwide.
Dr. Farah is a winner of the Milliman Care Guidelines® Richard L. Doyle Award for Innovation and Leadership in Healthcare and a regular contributor for The Hospitalist. She is a sought-after speaker who frequently presents and writes about healthcare improvement, high-value care, healthcare reimbursement, value-based payment models, and healthcare innovation.
Dr. Farah is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and holds a master’s degree in Health Administration from the University of Washington, as well as a Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Healthcare Certifications from the University of Michigan.
